Watch How We Give Back To San Antonio & The People We Serve

A Family Of Attorneys Dedicated To Helping Your Family
|

When you meet a law firm, you usually hear about courtrooms, verdicts, and legal strategy. Our story starts in a different place. From the very beginning, we asked a simple question: who in our community already serves people in need, and how can we stand beside them?

That question led us to local nonprofits, underprivileged families, and eventually to a foundation named after a woman who "would just give and give and give." Our Community Involvement video shares that story. It explains why giving back is not a side project for The Packard Law Firm, but part of our identity.

Why this short video says so much about who we are

In just a few minutes, the video traces how our work in San Antonio grew out of community relationships, not advertising campaigns. As we explain in the video, "The The Packard Law Firm has been a staple, I think, here in San Antonio since 2011." From those early days, we reached out to organizations that already served struggling neighbors and asked how we could support their efforts.

Instead of starting with billboards or slogans, we started with people. We connected with nonprofits that help underprivileged members of our community. We chose to invest our time and resources in the same people we serve every day through our personal injury and Social Security Disability work.

The moments in the video that stay with you

The heart of the video comes through in a few simple, honest moments:

  • Our first step was community, not advertising. We share how "our very first approach to marketing and getting new clients was to reach out to other organizations" — especially nonprofits serving those who face real hardship. That decision shaped how we see our role today.
  • Giving back sits at the core of our work. You hear us say, "It's a way just to give back to the community. And just giving back to the community is really core to what we do." That line sums up why community involvement still guides how we run this firm.
  • The story of the Sarah Hayes Packard Foundation. The most personal part of the video comes when we talk about Dan’s mother, Sarah Hayes Packard: "My mom's name is Sarah Hayes Packard, and she passed away when I was 13 years old, and everybody who knew her was helped by her in some way. And she would just give and give and give." We then explain that we created a foundation in her honor "that would give back to the community."
  • A built-in promise to keep doing good. The video also shares a practical detail: "Part of the revenue from this firm goes into that foundation so that we can do good things." That choice turns a personal story into an ongoing commitment.
  • A simple, honest conclusion. After talking about loss, generosity, and community, the video closes with a quiet line: "And it's absolutely beautiful." It captures how we feel about the work we do together with our neighbors.

How this story connects to our work today

At The Packard Law Firm, we help people who face real challenges after a serious injury or while seeking Social Security Disability benefits. Many of our clients carry heavy financial and medical burdens. The values you hear in the video shape how we approach that work today.

Because giving back sits at the center of our firm, we focus on practical, human support. We use our nearly 50 years of family legal experience in Texas to ease the legal pressure so clients can focus on their health and families. Our team builds clear, direct communication into every case, because we know how much stress uncertainty can create.

The same spirit that led us to support nonprofits that serve the underprivileged also guides how we treat the people who call our office. We aim to treat clients like family, listen carefully, and tailor our approach to the goals and needs of each person we serve.

Why this matters for you and our community

This video is not just about our past. It also offers a window into what you can expect from us today:

  • A firm rooted in this community. We live and work here, and our history in San Antonio shapes how we see our responsibility to our neighbors.
  • A legacy of giving, carried forward. The foundation named after Sarah Hayes Packard reflects a family tradition of service that continues to guide our choices.
  • A practice that reinvests locally. When we say part of our revenue goes into the foundation, we mean that our work helps support ongoing efforts to do good in our community.

When you watch the video, we invite you to listen for the through-line: community, family, and service. Those themes tie directly to how we approach personal injury and Social Security Disability matters today.
