Community Involvement at The Packard Law Firm

We built our law firm in San Antonio on a simple idea: when we succeed, our community should feel that success too. From the day we opened our doors in 2011, we have looked for ways to stand with local organizations that serve our neighbors, especially those who face financial or physical challenges.

Giving back from the very beginning

When we first looked for ways to reach new clients, we did not start with billboards or commercials. We started by reaching out to nonprofits and community groups that were already doing good work for people in need. That early choice still shapes how we approach our role in this city today.

The Sarah Hayes Packard Foundation

Our commitment to service grew into something more formal when we created a foundation in honor of Sarah Hayes Packard, the late mother of our founding family. Sarah passed away when her son was 13 years old, but her memory lives on in the stories people tell about her. Everyone who knew her describes how she helped others and how freely she gave her time and resources.

We formed the foundation to carry that spirit forward. A portion of the revenue from The Packard Law Firm goes into the foundation so we can support efforts that make a positive difference in the lives of local families. While the specific projects may change over time, the purpose stays the same: to continue Sarah’s legacy of generosity and quiet, steady support.

Through the foundation, we focus on causes that reflect our values as a family law firm in the personal sense: dignity, care, and respect for people who are going through a hard time. This may include efforts that help those who have limited resources, face health challenges, or need support while they get back on their feet.
