Jacob joined the Packard Law Firm in July 2020, having experience in family law, oil and gas, probate, insurance defense, and full-time parenting. Jacob has personal experience facing the prospect of a medical disability. Corrective leg surgery in 2009 helped him avoid his own impairment from a severe physical disability. Jacob weighs the issues and focuses on the facts most likely to lead to the best achievable outcome for his clients.

Jacob is a first-generation lawyer in his family. Jacob grew up overseas in Scotland, the Middle East, Nigeria, and India while his dad worked for an oil-services company. Beginning in India, Jacob has been speaking and learning Spanish for over 10 years. Between finishing university and starting law school, Jacob married the love of his life Natalie, who became a fully licensed Texas Architect early in her career, and worked at the Cathedral School of Saint Mary in Austin.

Jacob is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggies Class of 2019. Jacob lives in San Antonio with his wife Natalie, daughter Alice, and son Charles. He enjoys taking them on outdoor adventures and being the best father he can be.
