San Antonio, TX (April 6, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in the San Antonio area that left several people injured. At around 9:50 p.m., on March 30, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Farm to Market Road 78.

Reports provided by authorities show that a silver 2007 Jeep collided with a black 2015 Jeep in the 4600 block of Farm to Market Road 78. The impact of the crash caused the black Jeep to crash into the rear of a silver 2006 Mercedes.

The crash resulted in injuries. EMS transported a 54-year-old male, 26-year-old female, and a 77-year-old female to area hospitals for further treatment and evaluation.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in Texas

The state of Texas is no stranger to motor vehicle accidents. In fact, one accident happens roughly every 2.5 minutes that ends in injuries. These incidents add up to more than 205,000 people left with injuries each year. Although many crashes result in minor injuries for those involved, a significant number of parties sustain severe injuries that require emergency medical care.  Some of the most common injuries sustained by serious crash victims include:

  • Broken bones
  • Back injuries
  • Soft tissue (neck) injuries
  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Burn injuries
  • Head injuries

These and other injuries often require immediate medical attention. In some cases, victims have to go through long-term care. Although most drivers are considerate of others, we see many accidents take place due to driver errors. When vehicles follow too closely, they run the risk of not being able to stop in time to avoid a collision. Rear-end collisions account for around 29% of total collisions every year in the United States.
