San Antonio, TX (April 22, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a head-on collision in the San Antonio area on Tuesday evening, April 19. At around 9:45 p.m., the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an auto accident on Loop 1604.

Reports provided by authorities show that a head-on crash between a red pickup truck and a black sedan occurred on Loop 1604 in the Area of Farm to Market Road 1346. The incident caused severe delays in the area.

The driver of the sedan, 77-year-old David Gerald Wagner, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The pickup truck driver was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
