San Antonio, TX (January 18, 2022) – two people have lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area on Monday evening, January 17. At around 7 p.m., authorities were requested on-site at an auto wreck on Northwest Loop 410.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a collision between two vehicles occurred on Northwest Loop 410 in the area of Fredericksburg Road. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to go up onto the sidewalk where it struck a female pedestrian.

The pedestrian was fatally injured and died at the scene.

A second victim suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where they passed away from their injuries.

A total of four others were left with injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
