San Antonio, TX (October 8, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident in the San Antonio area that ended in injuries. At around 4:38 p.m., on October 4, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Judson Road.

Reports from authorities show that a 33-year-old male was driving a black 2014 Volkswagen in the area of Judson Road and Judtoepper Way when he failed to yield the right of way. As a result, the vehicle collided with a black 2019 Toyota, driven by a 52-year-old female.

The driver of the Toyota and her passenger, an 80-year-old female, were both injured. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in San Antonio, Texas

In Texas, we see our fair share of motor vehicle accidents. In fact, roughly every 2.5 minutes, someone is hurt in a traffic-related incident somewhere in our state. These accidents add up to more than 200,000 people every year. Although the majority of accidents end in minor injuries and disruptions for victims, around 15,000 people are hospitalized with severe injuries that require extensive medical care.

Although most drivers are considerate of others, we see many accidents take place due to driver errors. When vehicles follow too closely, they run the risk of not being able to stop in time to avoid a collision. Rear-end collisions account for around 29% of total collisions every year in the United States. In San Antonio, we see countless people suffer back and neck injuries, broken bones, and other severe injuries in these collisions.

When victims are hurt in collisions, they should seek the assistance of a car accident lawyer in San Antonio as soon as possible. In some cases, victims may have legal options available to help them move forward and hold negligent parties accountable for their actions.
