San Antonio, TX (March 3, 2022) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area, according to local law enforcement. Just before 5 p.m., on February 28, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 410.

Reports from the SAPD show that a black 2002 Chevrolet was traveling on the interstate. For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle failed to control their speed. As a result, the Chevrolet crashed into a second black 2002 Chevrolet and a black 2018 Dodge.

The 30-year-old female driver of the Dodge and the 56-year-old male driver of the second Chevrolet were both injured. EMS rendered aid to the victims and transported them to area hospitals for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the victims who were injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in Texas

Nearly every minute, an automobile accident is reported somewhere in the state of Texas. These accidents often cause major disruptions in traffic and leave victims with painful injuries. In fact, more than 200,000 people sustain broken bones, internal organ damage, and various other injuries in traffic-related incidents across our state each year.

When victims are injured in accidents, they often have to go through emergency medical care. Depending on the type and severity of the injuries, victims may have to go through long-term care and spend months off work to recover. When vehicles follow too closely, they run the risk of not being able to stop in time to avoid a collision. Rear-end collisions account for around 29% of total collisions every year in the United States. In San Antonio, we see countless people suffer back and neck injuries, broken bones, and other severe injuries in these collisions.

When victims are hurt in collisions, they should seek the assistance of a car accident lawyer in San Antonio as soon as possible. In some cases, victims may have legal options available to help them move forward and hold negligent parties accountable for their actions.
