San Antonio, TX (October 11, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with injuries following a motor vehicle collision early Monday morning on the North Side of San Antonio.

At around 2 a.m., on October 11, a white SUV was traveling near the westbound side of Interstate 10 when it became involved in an accident with an 18-wheeler near UTSA Boulevard.

The crash caused the SUV to become pinned between the 18-wheeler and the center divider.

Two people were trapped inside the SUV. Both victims were extricated from their vehicles by responding firefighters. One victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Two others were rendered aid by responding medical personnel. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
