San Antonio, TX (March 7, 2022) – One man has lost his life following a pedestrian crash on the West Side of San Antonio. At around 12:53 a.m., on March 5, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Culebra Road.

Reports from local law enforcement show that a 47-year-old man was crossing in the 8200 block of South Culebra Road, from the south side to the north side of the roadway.

At the same time, a vehicle passing through the area struck the male pedestrian.

The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the crash. He was rushed to University Hospital by EMS. Authorities confirmed that he passed away approximately one hour later.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
