San Antonio, TX (February 18, 2022) – A construction site accident reported on Tuesday afternoon in the San Antonio area claimed one man’s life. At around 2 p.m., on February 15, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was at the scene of a crash on Interstate Highway 10.

Reports from authorities show that a man was working with heavy machinery on a hill in the 2500 block of Interstate 10 West. For unknown reasons, the machine fell over and landed on top of him.

The man was found around 30-minutes later. Firefighters rushed to the scene and used Jaws of Life and airbags to life the machine off the man. However, he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on-site.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the man who lost his life in this accident. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
