San Antonio, TX (January 13, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Bexar County ended in injuries. At around 2:30 p.m., on January 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that the driver of a silver 2017 Buick became distracted while operating their vehicle in the 8300 block of Interstate 35. As a result, the vehicle collided with a gray 2007 Chevrolet near Palo Alto Road.

A total of five people involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported a 38-year-old female, 2-year-old male, 11-year-old female, 7-year-old female, and a 63-year-old female to area hospitals for further evaluation.

At this time, the police in San Antonio are investigating the crash.
