San Antonio, TX (January 17, 2022) – At around 7:40 p.m., on January 12, emergency crews were notified that an auto accident took place on Interstate 410.

Reports provided by the San Antonio Police Department show that the driver of a black 2017 Ford became distracted while operating their vehicle on Interstate 410. As a result, the vehicle collided with a white 2015 Lexus and a black 2007 Nissan.

The drivers of all three vehicles were injured. EMS transported a 52-year-old man and two 43-year-old men to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the San Antonio Police Department.

Our thoughts are with the victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in Texas

Every year, more than 205,000 people are injured in accidents involving cars, trucks, and SUVs across Texas. Some of the most common contributing factors to crashes in our state include:

Speeding: We see many drivers go above the speed limits while traveling along our roadways. When drivers are traveling at high rates of speed, they are likely to lose control of their vehicles and have problems stopping in time to avoid a crash.

Impairment: Many people are involved in accidents due to drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Driving while impaired significantly increases the chances of drivers losing control of their vehicles and causing devastating crashes.

Distraction: We see many accidents take place due to drivers who are using their cell phones. In other instances, drivers are distracted by food, radios, and even their passengers. Taking your attention off the road for a moment can have severe consequences.
