San Antonio, TX (November 18, 2021) – Several people were left with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area, according to local news sources. At around 5:44 p.m., on November 14, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Lookout Road.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a green 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle was involved in a collision with a gray 2014 Lexus in the area of 13968 Lookout Road near the intersection of Judson Road.

The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old male, and two people in the Lexus, identified as a 51-year-old male and a 36-year-old female, were all injured. All three victims were transported to area hospitals for further care.

At this time, the police in San Antonio are investigating the crash.

Our thoughts are with the three victims who were injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.

Motorcycle Accidents in Texas

In Texas, we see our fair share of motor vehicle accidents. In fact, roughly every 2.5 minutes, someone is hurt in a traffic-related incident somewhere in our state. These accidents add up to more than 200,000 people every year. Although the majority of accidents end in minor injuries and disruptions for victims, around 15,000 people are hospitalized with severe injuries that require extensive medical care.

The fact that motorcyclists have little more than helmets to protect them during crashes means they are likely to sustain spinal cord injuries, broken bones, and even back injuries that require extensive medical care.

When motorcyclists sustain injuries in accidents, due to the negligence of other motorists, they may have legal options available to help them recover. Reaching out to a motorcycle accident lawyer in San Antonio as soon as possible can help you get the justice you deserve. Should you be harmed by another driver, you may be able to obtain compensation for medical costs, pain and suffering, vehicle repairs, and more. A skilled legal team can help to ensure your legal rights are protected.
