Going to the doctor is the most important things you can do for you Social Security Disability case. But we understand that these doctor visits aren't free, and then you have the cost of the tests, and the surgeries, and they add up. Many of my clients find themselves in need of medical care, but they can't afford it.

If you're in this situation, there's a program that might be for you. Carelink is a financial assistance program that works with University Health system to help people who don't have a way to pay for public or private health insurance.

The requirements are pretty basic. You need proof of identity,  like a driver license. You need to be a resident of Bexar county, and your family has to meet certain income requirements. To make an application, you can go to the main office, it's downtown. It's in the Robert B. Green building. Or  you can call and set up an appointment to an office that's closer to you.

210-358-3350 is the number, and they'll set you up an appointment and you should be good to go. If you have any questions about your disability case, or you need assistance, we would love to help. You can contact us by filling out this form online, or you can give us a call.
