Pedestrian Accidents in San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, TX – Child Struck by Drunk Driver on Wyndale St near Dalewood Place

Nearly every 2.5 minutes, someone is injured in a motor vehicle accident somewhere in the state of Texas. These accidents happen far too often, causing overwhelming pain and suffering for those involved.

When pedestrians are involved in accidents, the chances of dealing with severe and life-threatening injuries are drastically increased. Pedestrians do not have steel-framed wrapped around them for protection. As a result, they are likely to suffer head trauma, broken bones, and other injuries that require extensive medical care. When child pedestrians are involved in accidents, they are at an even greater risk of suffering life-altering injuries. Consoling an injured child is one of the most challenging things parents will ever have to do. There is truly no way to explain to young children why they were hurt by a negligent driver.
